The “Carolina Family” as we are known amongst ourselves is one with a heart for community awareness and involvement.
As an example of this our offices traditionally celebrate each Holiday Season by supporting a local charity in their community.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Carolina Office Systems held “Pink Day” on October 15th, 2009. The COS family donned pink ribbons, assorted apparel and made a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor of those affected by breast cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, “The chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer some time during her life is a little less than one in eight. Right now there are more than 2˝ million breast cancer survivors in the United States.” We are fortunate to know that our own Wanda Furches, Celeste Feimster, and Maggie Harris are a part of that 2˝ million having fought and won their own personal battles. In addition, our three ladies were interviewed and highlighted on the front page of the local Statesville Record & Landmark newspaper. We are so very proud of them and their courageous attitudes and thanks to everyone for participating in “Pink Day” and supporting a worthy cause.
In May of 2010 Carolina Office Systems participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease. Carolina Office Corporate office did just that – coming together with a team of 10, sponsoring luncheons, having a yard sale, selling “Hope” bracelets, and asking for donations from family and friends.
On September 3rd, 2010 – Carolina Office Systems had the opportunity to participate in helping the Charlotte Food Bank process donated items for families in need. The Charlotte Food Bank distributes items to 28+ participating organizations in the Charlotte area. Over 26 pallets of food and non-food items are received on a daily basis so they rely of volunteer help every day. A number of sales personnel from the Statesville and Charlotte office volunteered their time to help this fantastic organization. “It was a great time” said one of the volunteers. This is just a start for Carolina Office Systems; we plan on continuing our involvement with the Food Bank and other great social community programs. Our philosophy at Carolina Office Systems has always been a giving organization – ordinary people doing extraordinary things. We all look forward to the next event…
We are so very proud of our employees who support many local charities and community activities. Our employees have a giving & charitable heart.
